Struble: "The Race for the Dashboard Is On"

Yet another chance for Bob Struble to claim that listeners want better quality (conveniently forgetting about all those bit-compressed low-sample-rate MP3s the kids listen to and seem to have no problem with), and then touting the usual HD lies (CD quality on FM, FM quality on AM) as the solution.

And "reliable souses report:" Coming Soon! The wonders of HD-4 !!!

Otherwise known as: "Bad internet stream over AM rebroadcast on FM quality!!" :D

Hurry, kids! Wiggle on out to your favorite retailer, first explain to them what HD Radio is, and yhen get them to special-order you a new $100+ HD Radio to replace your newly obsolete one-year old present HD receiver!

As the Alliance Lie Machine might say: "EVERYbody's doin' it!!" ;D

In order to drink this Kool-aid you must be prepared to suck > hard <.

This makes me wonder...if the current HD's like the Sony XDR-F1HD can receive more than 2 HD subchannels from one FM station. Is that possible, or will it make the Sony obsolete?

KITS-FM in San Francisco is running 3 HD subchannels & I get those three on my XDR-F1HD.

KITS 105.3, 105.3-2, 105.3-3, 105.3-4? Maybe I didn't make this clear.
Sorry. I mis-understood. Nope. Only HD-3. How they would split this up to 4 streams, I'll never know. What's there now is hard to listen to on a good stereo.
