Stubbs

During her show on Friday she announced she "was retiring and looking forward to having the summer off." ???

Listening to the show she was the consummate professional and didn't burn any bridges. That said, I got the distinct impression she will be back on another station sometime in the future, possibly the fall??

Seems to me as an average listener things are not well at KMPS.
 
Stubbs is the consumate pro, she was all smiles when I saw here last Friday!  I am sure she will land on her feet no matter what the future holds.
 
I have no inside information but I will bet you dollars to doughnuts that Stubbs cut a deal with STAR 101.5 to work with Kent & Alan in the morning. Sara Johnson is gone from KOMO, Ana Kelly is already moved out of the studio so it's just an easy hop, skip and jump to put Ana in Sara's midday spot at KOMO. That leaves a co-hosting "side-chick" hole at STAR. Since STAR has been programming more country anyway, why not bring in a great talent with Country credibility to team with an aging morning show? That should freshen things up nicely, nobody has to get fired to make room for her, and Stubbs gets to play with new friends in a new sandbox, in a morning show. She must have been pissed off when she didn't get the mornings when Ichabod was let go from KMPS.

In other news, Bill Gates was recently spotted eating a piece of fruit, an apple. Thus, speculation is rampant that Mr. Gates will be teaming up with Steve Jobs for a new platform and mobile device soon. Wall Street is abuzz over this imminent collaboration.

Hey, that may not be as far fetched as it sounds, AQH. If Apple and Google continue their feud, you might see Bing search and other MS stuff on your iPhone.

At any rate, an Apple/MS collaboration would happen a LOT sooner than the "bet" assertion would.
