Stubie Doak

I noticed today that stubie doak is no longer on the air at KSCS, I checked there web site and he is no longer listed there either. I was away for a week or so do something happen while I was gone.

So can we safely assume now that Amy B's syndicated show will soon take over afternoons at KSCS? I'm sure Stubie will still be in the local ABCitadel system, since he did production for WBAP for the last 4-5 years or so before taking the KSCS job, and now we know Jack Dillon won't be returning (R.I.P.) It just wouldn't be a typical political season without Stubie's song parodies.

I actually heard Katie Prewitt on the air this weekend on KSCS. Not sure if she was live or tracked, but it was cool to hear her back on the air here in Dallas again.

I don't know what says more about this fledgling market (how is it that DFW isn't right up there in Arbitron with Poughkeepsie and Buffalo anyway)...

1. Stubie, a staple in Big D, is gone without the fanfare...
2. or, KSCS may offer a syndicated show during M-F afternoons?!

...the hell?

No offense to Stubie, but other than his brief stint on KSCS has he been on the air since Young Country bit the dust?

I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything but 6-7 years off the air and for the most part, people forget who you are.

Hah!, I'll go even lower...how about 2?

But then again, some of us could care less.... ;)

I thought today was the day they let everyone know? Has anyone herd yet. I went to ABC Radio web page for Amy B no info there either..

According to www.kscs.com is says on the top page "B is Back". Does this mean Amy B??

They also have a new billboard today on southbound 75 past 635 that also just reads "B Back." Boring. It pales in comparison to the Stars' "One game a week? Is the N in NFL for Nancy?" billboard directly across the freeway from it. That billboard campaign is greatness... KPLX and KSCS could learn from that one -- http://cdn.nhl.com/stars/images/upload/2007/09/dn3billboards_anim2.gif

There's another WB 30 before after Sylvan that says "B Happy."

First thing I thought of as well. She's baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.
