studio headphones

I've always liked AKG K240s. However...I stock my studios with the Sennheisers that BSW sells for $89 for five pairs. That's a pittance compared to the $200 I paid for my AKG set.

Studio/Closed Ear Style.. I found a more economical set that are patterned after Sony and Senn's.. But, as long as you don't throw them against the wall (Sony cans, tend to lost connections and wear out on the ear cushions), I have bought a neat little light weight pair of ALPHA-LINE / 26799's for around $30 bucks... 20 hz to 20,000 hz (K-Mart had them in stock here in the prairie)....

I have a Beyerdynamic DT 150 pair that has been run though the mill.

Replaced the ear pads & bought a new cable for them (found online) & they are like new.
