Studios question

I know that the old XM Radio made quite an investment in a modern studio complex in Washington, D.C. and that the old Sirius was headquartered in New York City. My question is... Did Sirius make a big investment in Studios? I know that some of their jocks have home studios in other cities. JJ Walker of 70's on 7 does his from home in Miami. What will they do in the future?

IF they were smart, and we know SXM isn't, they would move ALL activity to Washington DC where they OWN the building instead of wasting millions in rent in NYC, but Melvin didn't want to leave the City.
IF Liberty IS smart, they'll lease a single studio in NYC for Cousin Brucie or whomever, and do all production and live work from their paid-for state-of-the-art DC Headquarters of the former XM radio.
They can also keep their remote studios in Cleveland and Austin, as those wouldn't cost near as much as NYC. Also, all management ought to leave NYC for DC as well, IF they want to save money.
As far as the fake worthless jocks on CH7 - they are voicetracked from their homes and provide no value to the product in my opinion.
REAL, LIVE on-air DJ's on 7 from DC would be my preference over the cheap service they offer now.
That's my opinion, for what it's worth: 90% should be from the top-notch (XM) DC studios.

So are you saying that Sirius didn't invest as much as XM did in studios? I have seen a video studio tour of XM but I don't think Sirius has ever shown their studios. I'm not saying that it applies in this case but usually a radio station didn't show of their studios it was because it was a dump. Not that I would expect the Sirius Studios to be a dump.
