This is probably so basic it's not funny but here goes. If I sign up with SWcast or Loudcity for licensing, do I have to have a hosted stream somewhere or can I just run my own Shoutcast server? (Yes, I know doing so would effectively limit me to 5 listeners or so, but that's all I ever got from Live365 so...lol).
 
From what I know you are correct. I think LoudCity offers packages with streaming as well, but you have the option of acquiring your own streaming server services from alternate sources.
