Subj of McPhee book (Markoff, Craigslist killer) apparently kills himself

On this board because of the conn. to a local talk host. Michele McPhee wrote a book about the alleged "Craig's List Killer" Phillip Markoff. I don't know if it's out yet but there may be an addendum
in a future edition/paperback: Markoff apparently offed himself at the Nashua St Jail. Wonder how much talk radio discussion tomorrow?

well the radio people might want to drop the words killer, or accused, or any reference to him doing anything illegal, because under MA law, all pending charges are dropped upon the death of the subject under arrest, so he is, in the eyes of the law, pure as the driven snow, and anyone saying otherwise can be sued by his estate.

She wasn't bad on Ch 25 last night, but when she's on the air she can sound shriek-y. She has said on air she's deaf in one ear so maybe she doesn't realize she's talking so loud and I don't know if the board op is adjusting the mic or what. What was interesting was Scott Brown's victory night,
in which her show turned into a party for Brown (held at F1 in Brockton I think) and it was much
more party-hearty shouting (partisan on her part, but she's a commentator not a news reader).
At one point she screamed out "MICHAEL GRAHAM IS IN THE HOUSE!!!!!!!" when her colleague
showed up, in ear-splitting fashion. That's shriek-y.

He killed himself. That still makes him a killer.

WBZ is using the suicide as a Dan Ray promo. It's predictable, with Dan saying he's glad the state has saved money and this was swell.

It isn't in the best interest of the state to have capital crime defendants killing themselves in holding. Who is to say he might not have confessed to other unsolved murders?

He couldn't manage to get the first one right, medical school or not!

You're right about the discussion being predictable. Were there any hosts that weren't on this topic?
