Subscription Numbers

Anyone out there with some information on XM subscriber numbers? Has their numbers increased in the last year? Are they making money? Has their listener base increased....I dropped them last year after being a loyal customer for several years but I didn't even hear anything about them anymore. Has Iheart and other sources cut into them? I really enjoyed their programming until the merger and everything changed. Any information on their future? Thanks for everyone.

Most of the "subscriber growth" is due to Sirius being offered on a free trial basis in many new cars. What would be interesting is how many of the new subscribers actually keep the service and start paying for it.

According to the 3rd Quarter report, only 44% are keeping their free subs in their cars. They are up to 2% "churn" drop rate too. I was one of those that dropped my XM sub because of the mono channels - that cost me a $75 fee too :(

Why would there be a $75.00 fee to drop Sirius. When I was a subscriber a customer could drop at any time and get a refund

I hate to say it but even XM with only one channel put into both sides (half-eo) is better than FM with it's superior sound quality and stereo.
