suburban NYC. station, Party 105.3 finally streams

PARTY 105.3 out in Suffolk County, Long Island is finally streaming for those of us outside of the listening area. Party trys very hard to be New York's new dance station after the demize of KTU but the signal is lacking. With the stream now however at least they can serve New Yorker's with some local "dance" flavor even if it is over the internet.

is it just me, or is the audio all F'ed up....

It seems like its slow, as if you were playing a record a tad slower than normal. Better than not having any audio, but it is a bit screwy.

Give them time to tweak and get it right. Dec. 6 was their first day streaming and they're not even promoting the stream yet.
I would imagine they'll gradually sound better with time.
Let's support one of the best dance stations in the US...or shall I say one of the 3 dance stations left.
Thank you Party 105.3!

There's actually at least 6 Dance stations in the US:

Energy 92.7 San Francisco
C-89.5 Seattle
Energy Arizona
Z-88.9 suburban Philadelphia
Super 91.7 Wilmington
Party 105.3 The Hamptons

and, for the most part, look at the bizarre locations of the existing dance stations...
it is a sad state I must say.
How has it come to this?

Why are they bizzare? Phoenix is party school central with Arizona State University. San Fran has a huge gay and lesbian population. Wilmington is an off shoot of Philly. If you went to the dance music hall of fame most of the people getting inducted were from NYC or Philly. Also the original home of American Bandstand. The Hamptons are another hot spot for parties. A lot of New Yorkers go north. And from what I hear Seattle has a huge dance fan base. Now if you told me North Dakota had one I would say thats weird.

I think you mean a lot of New Yorkers go east:)

wow thats sad. dance music in the us just doesnt appeal to the masses like it does in europe. Z-88.9 is awesome good coverage for a community college station.
