Suggested Book

I got a copy of the "Picking on Peachtree: A Histor of Country Music in Atlanta, Georgia". It's about ten years old but it has a lot of good information about the early days of radio programming and the role of hillbilly or country music. If there is an interest in the very early radio history of Atlanta and the programming in the 20's and 30's this is a good back to get.
