Suggestions for JR

SPRINGFIELDRAD

1. Don't play any music during the show.

2. Just do comedy. No calls to the weatherman. If I want the weather I just go to Yahoo.

3. Can the cheap prizes. You just won a $25 gift certificate to a used car dealer! Now you have to buy a car to claim the $25! Ok! Or the gift certificate for the cell phone. Give us a break!

4. Please no traffic reports. If I want traffic reports 810 WGY does it better.

5. Take a bunch of calls. 800 # would help.

The Albany radio dial is dead in AM DRIVE now that Howard Stern departed. I don't care for the Wolf or the geeks at 103.5. I enjoy listening to JR. I would like him to rule the morning radio rat race.
 
Best/Worst Morning and Afternoons?

Traffic could stay, but aside from that I agree with you. Albany AM drive has some terrible things on the air. To make matters worse all these stations think that they have a quality morning show when in fact they are airing crap that a handful of losers tune in for...suddenly they think they have regulars. JR is an expert at his craft.

In other words...I vote for JR as best morning show. Who's the worst one?

The last time I *voted*, it was deleted because the *DJ* cried to the moderator.
So, I'll drop hints but won't mention names, that is for the people I dislike, maybe I won't mention.

The person is on a Top 40 station *middays*. How the hell did he/she get the job??

There's another *DJ* on a Hot AC station that sounds monotoned..I don't know if he/she has relatives at the station, but sooo dry.

Good shows, Morning - Candy and Potter. For Talk Radio - JR.
Midday - Trudy from the Buzz..
Afternoon's - I gotta give it to Brian Cody.
Nights - Tim Reid from the Buzz - He's got that Barry White thang going on! Very cool...

I will say that Im not a big JR fan but I have found myself listening to him more and more now that Howard has moved on....at least he is entertaining to some degree, Im not impressed with the Wolf or anyone else for that matter.. As far as the personalities go:
Mornings: JR
Mid Days: Trudy
Afternoons: Brian Cody/ I also like Mrozek and Stew Schantz over at the Bone.....I think there is alot of potential for that station.,VITO.too...sorry!!!
Nights....Pat Kelly, not your typical night jock but knows the music and very informative....

On the AM side
Mornings: Paul Vandenburgh
Mid Days: Andrew Wilco
Afternoons:Dan Murphy
Notice that I went with local talent on both ends of this, if you want to talk syndication then I would mention...Limbaugh/Hannity etc....

MAGIC 100.9 reminds me of WCBS-FM (NYC). Same jingles & sweeper guy. Don't kill me because sometimes I may want to hear Helen Reddy.
