Who knows. WVOS has had more rebuilding years than the New York Jets. After a month of Max Kinkel, they now have John Moultrie in the Morning. It is funny to see the picture of him in his tuxedo on 3 websites now. (WTBQ, WGHT and WVOS) although severely overpixilated on the WVOS website.

So who's calling the shots these days in Monticello at WVOS and WSUL?

Still Watermark, pretty stable in this time of change. They picked up WVOS about 2 1/2 years ago. It was quite the dog station for a couple of decades before that.

Not sure what you mean by a "dog".

They always fared pretty well. There isn't much up there so it is quite possible it was by default. Nevertheless.

They always had pretty decent news too.

Used to be awesome that they would play Time is Tight by Booker T and the MG's into the news all the time.

Nothing says our disc jockeys can't back time like an instrumental into the news... every hour.

So whats with 102.1 Thunder? Why do they sound like they're being piped through a garden hose?

Maybe they upgraded their audio chain. Previously it sounded like it was run through a toilet paper roll tube.
