WNCI remains strong - I guess what another poster said about Ohio being a strong CHR state is true...

Also, is it normal for WTVN to take the annual summer dip they're taking? I'm assuming they're stronger in the winter because of the Buckeyes.
______________

News/Talk's been trending down nationwide. Its to be expected after last year's contentious election. Buckeye coverage (though not the game) certainly helps.
______________

Wow! WNCI did extremely well. It's very unusual for large market stations to hit double digits, especially FM music stations.

I'll admit that I'm a critic from far away. I don't live in Ohio and haven't heard WNCI very often. When I look at the playlist, it looks too conservative, adult, and whitebread for a CHR. It looks like a playlist from some "Leave it to Beaver" parellel universe. But, man is it working!!! Congratulations to WNCI..the highest rated large market CHR in the U.S.

Curious...does WNCI still have reverb? Or has it been a number of years. It's been awhile since I've heard them as well.

I think the less is more is a big factor. They seem to zip through the commercials quickly, albeit several breaks per hour.
