Summer P1

Congarts to The Fan for making the Top 20! Looks like this should guarantee another decade of great AL sports coverage.

Way to go South Central, the top 2 stations! If they ran 5 signals would all 5 be in the top 5?

Along with that question you have to ask:

What does South Central "get" that everyone else in the market doesn't seem to "get"?

Why won't a competitor go after WJXA, at least to try to cut down the size of their audience?

And speaking of running 5 signals, how come the local Cumulus, which has done a fairly good job of running 3, just can't seem to make it happen for the other 2?

I belive WFFH is the Fish (Christian) and to answer the other question, not that I am a Fan Fan, but of course they are at the bottom of the barrel, they are what? 1100 watts? Hard to fight the zone with that. Now I don't know what WRQQs problem is, but they should consider putting WQQK on RQQs signal.

Well now, Nock, you're probably just part of the vast conspiracy of Republican propaganda over there
at your station...so, I plead the fifth of Crown Royal (which I much prefer over Jack, too...) when I
say "I dunno where that QQQKKRQQR-K idea came from  "

but I do have an idea that's kinda fun...

It's your turn to suggest a new format for WNFN. ANY ideas??? Crummy just has to be willing to release
the frequency in our lifetimes...Anyone? Romer, Romer...

And I am 100% sobber typing all of that above. For that I apologize.

It would be soooooo easy. There in lies the problem listening to all the Creamulus bashing.

Yes, WFFH is the Smyrna/94.1 side of The Fish. (does that ranking include the 93.7/Kingston Springs side as well?)

WNSG is the black gospel daytimer on 880 AM.

Actually, when 106.7 was urban, they gave The Beat a run for their money. No, they didn't get anywhere close to their numbers, but they gave them a run... didn't 106.7 see its best numbers during that day, or did the Rooster do that?

You know, with the muscle WNSG is weilding as an AM daytimer, I think I'd pop up at black gospel station at 106.7... or would that be against Cumulus's religion?

Scum-ulus bounced around the idea of an all spanish station about a year ago to replace the failing sports talk fomat that the zone was destroying.

It came down to Hispanic music...or that age-old Dickey jonesing for a rock station to compete with 105.9 and the Buzz.

The ideas were obviously scrapped...but...the pre-made...cookie cutter ad campaigns and station branding remain in their archives...ready to surface when they grow a set.
