The new Columbus Arbitrend shows more movement than usual, and some interesting patterns. NCI, BNS-FM, LZT and BWR each dropped by more than one-half point (which is a pretty substantial percentage drop for the latter three, esp the Brew and that big Ashville signal that CC shamelessly wastes to just needle SNY). Meanwhile SNY was nearly flat. I’m wondering if 91.5 may be starting to have a real impact on some commercial stations? Meanwhile, the Blitz slid back down to the low 3’s. That should make columnist Ann Fisher of the Dispatch happy given her bizarrely indignant rants against the Bltz's "pray for rain" billboards. In fact, it was bad news all around for Nabco. MNI lost a third of its 12+ AQH, and WTDA dropped back to below where Ted had been when they made the switch to talk (certainly no surprise there).
The Wilks and Radio One stations are all stable to slightly up (although Radio One's gospel station had a big percentage increase); while CC’s COL-FM and especially WTVN notched some nice increases.
