Sumo Wrestling on Astros Game

I hope everyone enjoyed the 17 minutes of “Fight Sports” Sumo Wrestling from Tokyo that was shown on AT&T Sports Network instead of the Houston at Tampa Bay Rays baseball game on Tuesday at 530 pm. It was a match between “Kisensato” and “Tochinoshin” that was abruptly interrupted to show Astros Right Fielder Kyle Tucker at bat with a 1-0 count and runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the first inning.
Quite the instant transition from Sumo Wrestling to Astros baseball, but all is forgiven, as Houston continued the quest for the best record in the American League by shutting out the Rays 5-0. (Not sure who won the Sumo Wrestling match.)

Possibly a loss of the backhaul feed from the game, which necessitated some backup fill programming. Or maybe just a switching error at the ATTSN master control, wherever that might actually be.

Might check the ATTSN alternate channel in such cases, which is usually a straight simulcast whenever there aren’t different live sporting events going on at the same time.
