WCCT is today's WACH FOX 57 Columbia. But WCCT has always been on Channel 57.

WPCQ-36 was left over from when WRET-36 was an independent station carried throughout much of SC and NC. It took the cable companies a while to remove it, when it became an NBC affiliate, so you had the situation of a redundant distant NBC affiliate carried far from Charlotte in areas where other Charlotte network affiliates weren't carried. Also, Florence stations are no longer carried on Sumter cable. WBTW used to get into Sumter and Camden when its transmitter was in Florence proper, instead of being out in Dillon County near South of the Border (Hamer). Likewise, Charleston stations are no longer carried in Sumter. Back in the early days, they were preferred in Sumter over Columbia UHF stations WNOK-19 (now WLTX) and WOLO-25.
