Other people at my university. It seems to be the younger generation that sees it as Toronto, while older folk still identify with the local placenames. Older people remember when these communities were actually separate and isolated from Toronto, and you had to go up old Highway 11 to access them from North York. Now it's all one city along Yonge Street and the younger generation have grown up with it that way. This exists across the GTA - young people from Mississauga tend to say they're from Toronto.<P ID="signature">______________
