Sun Radio Applications

what is so strange the many years of researching RnB stations that was a frequency that was a low power translator that reached the key Demo AA : North East Austin, Pflugerville Round Rock , Cedar Park , Hutto , Smithville , Bastrop , Elgin , La Grange , San Marcos , Taylor , Killeen *New Braunfels You get the point that engineer should be hired by anyone that has a translator , he or she had a translator reaching the AA Demo in the largest geographical region I ever seen 96.3 rnb wasnt an Austin station it was regional station genus Sun Radio should be Ecstatic " 300K AA or sports format would do pretty good

The old 96-3 RNB signal did not come close to covering all of those locations with a usable signal. KUTX doesn't reach many of those either. Or the even more high powered KUT.

And when I say "reach" I mean can the signal be reliably received on a variety of radios throughout the community. Not sure on a good car radio or someone with a large external antenna at their house. Can the signal be received day in and day out on table radios, shower radios, cheap alarm clock radios, desk radios in cube farms, etc.

That could not even be said for KASE or KAMX in La Grange, Killeen, or New Braunfels, which by the way, none of those three are even in the Austin radio market. New Braunfels is in San Antonio, Killeen is in Killeen-Temple, and La Grange is in a rural, non-measured area.

Hate to disagree when 96.rnb launched I jumped inn my automobile , and drove 130 to G=Town, . than I drove 130 past lockhart . stopped at some great bar b que and drove to la grange and still had a signal back 71 to Austin. trust it did and HEB / Loved that station because of the reach ask some ad agencies

I actually pulled in KGID yesterday from New Braunfels. I’m sure it was due to atmospheric conditions. Even though they won’t care about Comal County, I’m curious if the 96.3 translator in Austin is at all receivable here in Canyon Lake.
I'm curious, is it still playing it's own country or did it change to Sun Radio?

What is the "key AA demo"?
