Sun Radio Austin in Gonzales?

Heading back today I heard Sun radio on 88.1 in Gonzales? Interesting it's not on the web site. Has pretty decent power.

Sun Radio began as a LPFM station: KDRP in Dripping Springs. They do have a website: http://sunradio.com/

Sun Radio purchased the station, 88.1 in Gonzales, not very long ago as their expansion increases. Obviously they have expanded in to separate entities to allow what was a 'one to a customer' LPFM to become a chain of stations both translators and full power. I think it might be fair to say they have been the most successful LPFM in the country. It just shows what some good management at a little 100 watt FM can get you when you do things right.

I don't guess they will be able to broadcast local high school football and sports? It's good to have a station back in Gonzales but not really local to them?

I haven't been around Dripping Springs on a Friday night to know, but at one point they did do high school sports at one point. Since, if they have the ability to do you, they could break off from the feed, they could do football games should there be the local talent agreeable to do so. I'd go to their website and send an email to ask. I know I sent an email asking a question and I got a pretty quick response.
