I don't usually side with the cable-sat companies over the broadcasters, but in this case, good for DirecTV.
All of Sunbeam's stations put waaaaay too much emphasis on their news product and pretty much act like a MyNet affil when it comes to syndicated content. Matlock, In the Heat of the Night, Comics Unleashed and Cash Cab do not belong on a Market 16 Fox affiliate (which WSVN) is, and their weekend schedules outside of network and news is all infomercial and Byron Allen product. WHDH is barely better (at least they have Access Hollywood), but still infomercial packed. Won't compare WLVI because their schedule is as expected for an average CW affiliate.
Because of this (and of course their tabloid-heavy news product), 300% is not only unjustified, but incredibly insulting. And it basically screams to other cable operators 'yup, you get to pay alot more to carry stations that don't try outside network hours'. Fox has to perturbed too as WSVN basically is ashamed of them, not even using any kind of branding, but it's a high-number station, and they have few other choices they can go to in Miami.
