sunburst media flips 96.7...again!

i cant spell. sue me ;D the oldies are back. but the 50s are included now. and no commercials, liners or ID?
Usually if they have an issue in studio on the 96.7 signal, Either it's set to default or they normally switch it.. But if their are issues on 96.7 or 1490, they usually flip to a simucast of kcil 107.5 till they fix the issue.
KXOR and KCIL pretty much just become dead air when this happens on those two stations.
Rumor I read somewhere was 2008 before all the ducks were in a row for a move to New Orleans.. However this station has been CPed to move numerous times in the past.... KCIL is one of the top stations in the area (not like most flips which are stations that aren't usually listened to or if they are, they are 4th or 5th in the market), and I think that may be one of the issues making for a harder to move station

last night it was not a simolcast. 96.7 was playing hot country. 107.5 was on its usualy new+ legends format.
Well they could have also done what they did for 1490 KJIN after Katrina.. run a few hours off the playlist from say this morning and run 107.5 with a different playlist...
If they do this again, see what they ID as... For example, after Katrina, they were running all the Eagle 106 jingle packages on 1490 am making me think they were just running a playlist from another hour as KXOR was running different songs at the time.
But they've spent some money down here in advertising for OLDIES 96.7 basically putting on multiple bus benches and other ad spots in the area...
I could see a stunt in say Chicago spending that kind of money to fool people, but not in a market like Houma/Thibodaux.
