Sunday morning KKLF mess ----

Does anybody but me notice that on Sunday mornings, KKLF 1700 broadcasts two interfering transmitters? The two broadcasts seem to be 7 seconds apart - one IBOC, the other not? Possibly daytime and nighttime transmitters on at the same time? The result is one big unlistenable mess - it is hard to hear one or the other even by nulling. If you ever wondered what it would sound like if the FCC made a mistake and authorized two stations on the same frequency in the same city - this is what it would sound like.

This type of screw up ought to get them in DEEP trouble with the FCC. It goes on - week after week - not fixed.

No, but I don't listen to them on Sunday mornings :) Obviously at SOME point in time one or the other turns off. Do you have time frames of when this starts/stops? Or what hours you're hearing? Chances are it's an autopilot that's got issues or something along those lines.

It's STILL doing that? For a while there, EVERY time they went to their night pattern the same thing would happen.
