Sunny 103.1 and Classic Hits 96.9

There is a slight lag but station non ID are sprinkled along identical music feeds in Myrtle Beach and Charleston. Sunny 103.1 and the former Wolf 96.9 are both audible in the South Strand even though they don't overlap markets.

Disappointing.. as Sunny's music is duplicated by 104.9 in MB, and not that dissimilar to GNI from Wilmington.

Who else is part of this feed..

All of the stations involved are owned by Cumulus. I'm betting that the same person is handling the automated programming for each of these stations. While you were able to detect the sameness over the air, in the days before the Internet, most people didn't have the equipment and means (most similarly programmed stations were then far enough apart to not get caught up in each other's markets) necessary to figure that out. Frankly, given the layoffs at both IHeart and Audacy (and possible layoffs at other large radio companies as well), one should expect to hear more of this in the not-too-distant future.
