Sunny 103.5

I was at the same motel but a different room.

None of the radio stations at night were any good, except possibly the one playing classical music. There was another with classical music but mostly talk.

The "least objectionable" station, amazingly, was Sunny 103.5. This isn't a particularly strong station. I wasn't even getting a listenable signal from most of the Greenville stations. I should have been able to pick up WIMZ in Knoxville, if anything.

Where were you? Sunny is a good AC station, that doesn't have a very strong signal, but it's a good small town music station like WORG, and fills its niche.

Due west of Asheville just beyond where you had to detour (though most people would detour IN Asheville) because of the rock slide that closed I-40. That's as specific as I'll get.

There's a Sunny 103.5 in Greenwood, SC but I doubt if it was that one. If you hear references of "The Lakelands" however, then it IS!

With the way the weather has been lately the band opening effects have been strange to say the least. Sometimes you can hear stations from 50 to 100 miles away that never come into your area then the next time it is so strong everything comes in all at once and you can't hear anything clearly then the next time your listening to some stations three states away and can't even hear your local stations. With weather effects like this you never know what you might hear next or where it's comming from.

Last night around 1am I got WKQC 104.7, WKKT 96.9, WIBT 96.1, WLYT 102.9, WNKS 95.1, and WLNK 107.9 like they were next door, all Charlotte stations. WKQC was killing the 104 part of the band and I usually just get WNOK. I'm in Laurens county.
