Want sunny back?
Iheartradio Search sunny
And it's commercial free

Exactly what I was going to say. But, watch out...it make a few people want to barf after a while....tons of Barry Manilow, that awful Linda Ronstadt song "Long Long Time" and Debby Boone's "You Light Up My Life". It is like taking a prescription sedative and does help me fall asleep, however. And I play it for my cat when I'm not home. Similar to WDUV in Tampa.

You mentioned WDUV-FM. That is simply an amazing station with amazing ratings. I believe such a station would command good ratings in the Philly market. The Purple People Meters will help it along as many offices will tune to a station like this. This would be a great format for the mediocre talk station, WWIQ to switch to.

Do you agree?

TAMPA RATINGS : WDUV-FM is #1
WDUV Soft AC Cox Media Group 10.1 10.1 10.1 712,200

I agree and I think every city should have a soft AC station. However, it would do better in Florida since many retired people in their 70's and 80's live there.
The only thing that concerns me is that the soft AC will get harder as time goes on. Iheart's Sunny played "Separate Ways" by Journey this morning. "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor is probably not too far behind.
Songs like that wouldn't even be considered on AC or even Hot AC a decade ago (for the most part) but they are staples on mainstream AC today and no one cares it seems! I think the Sunny's and Dove's and Magic's should stick to the more mellow sounds.
Right now I'm listening to "My 80's" on iheart more than any other but there are those times when Sunny is a guilty pleasure....mainly because I haven't heard some of those songs since the 70's.

I see a lot of 'Sunny's' on Iheartradio. Which one is it?

Sunny Radio

I just wish they would cut down a little bit on all the schmaltzy '70s love songs they play, and balance it out a little more. They play very little '60s anymore, and the lighter selections from classic rock artists like the Beatles, Elvis, the Eagles, etc. are almost totally ignored. But at least the presentation and audio quality are good.

Ok thanks. Someone knows what the direct streaming URL is for playing it in Winamp for example?
