How's Sunny 106.5 in Myrtle Beach sounding these days? I really enjoyed their oldies programming a few years ago. I know they've changed PDs since then, so I was wondering if anything's changed.
In my humble opinion, for what it's worth, it sounds awful since Dave left. It used to be my favorite station in the Grand Strand. Anymore, not so much.
The latest ratings for the Myrtle Beach area came out at the end of this past January, and Sunny 106.5 was number seven over-all, beating out WAVE 104, WKZQ, WYAK, and a tie with WMYB, they were only 5 tenths of a point down from where they were last year, 3 tenths down from where they were before that, so not much change ratings-wise.
