I don't know what CC will name the new 93.9 (hopefully not after a farm animal like they did 106.1!), but it is definitely changing formats--- and Whoopi will be the new morning show. "Wake Up With Whoopi"--- and whatever the new format will be--- both premiere on Dec. 26, according to the promos Sunny is now running, both on the air and on the online stream.
Sunny will be on thier new tower I by April of 07 along with G 105. That would put Sunny's sig out of the Greensboro Market..

I think I got it! In Philadelphia the Smooth Jazz station that fliped to Energy 106.1- playing the MoVin format could possibly become that!! Why? Whoopi has the morning show there and if Whoopi is coming to Raleigh, that could be just that! It's some Movin kinda format coming..TBA!
So if Sunny indeed flips, who goes AC? Should MIX go softer and include 70s, or should another station flip altogether?

and speaking of the antenna move (they wont actually BUILD i new tower. just simply add both antennas to the TV 22 tower in apex) anyways, you know how CC is famous for getting CP's and never doing anything with them. something interesting; is that if they BOTH move, thats an 815' (g105's) and a 1,000' tower set up on a 300 foot ridge vacant....just sitting there. . oh, if i only had the $$$ ;D

There had been a city of lic change for Sunnyfor sure! Therefore, they will shift the signal to better cover the market. For sure they will be on the new tower location in April +/- weather....
