KVLL-Scott Shannon's Oldies, 24/7. Take that to the bank.

Was I right or was I right?

Listen Wednesday morning at 9:47am to 94.7 in Lufkin for the launch!!!!

I heard the launch... it was amazing! I hate to compare it to CBS-FM bringing Oldies back to New York, but you could feel the excitement as it led up to the launch... then the first song "This Magic Moment" was quite fitting as well.

It's been a while since Oldies were in East Texas, and they've never sounded this hot! This station sounds like it will surely have mass appeal, and it helps that it's really the only 'easy-listening' format in the market.

So kudos to Gap Broadcasting for all their hard work in bring East Texas the True Oldies Channel.

By writing 94.7.

The same way it works beween KJAS and KISX, both could write 107.3, but they write the slogan instead.

They are playing some really music. It sound a whole lot better than when yates was playing the oldies. Not much of a fan of the oldies but still a better playlist and mix than the old yates station.

Shannon has really put together a great product. It seems like Oldies stations have all moved up a decade and are more into the 70's. It must pay the bills, but not nearly as much fun to listen to as the True Oldies Channel.

We like to listen to the station all the up here in Decatur about 200 miles to the NW of you.
