Does anyone know anything on Donna McCoy at Sunny99 and Lisa Taylor?

Define the word "anything." Donna is the midday's APD at Sunny, and I believe she is also doing some work for Q101 in San Antonio. Lisa works weekends and used to be at Cox Radio. Both very talented women.

I may be wrong, but I believe she is still doing some work for KFOX in Lufkin as well.

Yeah, Donna is very professional and has a great voice. SUNNY 99.1 sounds great. Their playlist is more upbeat recently. Reminds me of KOST 103.5 in Los Angeles, which is another AC Station.

???

Why yes, we "know" something "on" Donna. Donna is actually a rather plain-looking Amish brunette on the witness protection program for helping authorities catch numerous mob characters back in her hometown Pennsylvania community. She is here disguised as a beautiful, red haired, vibrant radio personality for one of the city's most successful stations. This should keep her safe for years to come. Our records show that while her credit is near perfect, her past is checkered with citations for driving with an expired inspection sticker, as well as chewing gum in class. (Im killing me here)

Her husband taught me pro-tools, and is a welcome bastion of mellowness in a world of falling skies.

One thing I enjoy about listening to DM is her smiling, warm, and even authoritative delivery. It proves that a pretty woman can smile at you and be friendly without looking or sounding promiscous. I've argued this before. Her sound elicits respect. It bugs me when I listen to a classic rock station and some female jock comes at you with that "F*** Me, I smoke cigarettes" delivery. I envision a request line hag.

Congrats Donna for earning the Houston radio community's respect. Randy is a pleasure to work with.

Classic rock (or any of the rock subgenres in general) listeners want and expect a different sound than Sunny listeners, and PDs and consultants generally ask jocks to deliver what works for the format. That said, I agree that Donna has the perfect Sunny delivery!
