Super Bowl Commercials

I didn't watch the show, what did you all think of the commercials? What was the best and worse in your opinions?

The Coke polar bear commericals were good and that Bud Light with the dog was good. Their didn't seem to be that many commericals as in other years or I could be wrong. As for bad commericals that goes to Hyundai.

How about GE's commercial showing people sitting down to some Bud Light? That cross-promotion sucked!

Must have missed that. Another AD with cross-promotion was the Chevy end of the world commerical and one of the guys had Hostess's Twinkie. Which was funny as didn't Hostess just go backrupt.

I saw the Mayan Apocalypse spot on Mediaite or Business Insider because Ford claimed they were unfairly demeaned in the spot...and YES, the insertion of the Hostess Twinkie into the spot was funny. I thought the Coca Cola polar bear spots were insipid, except that they included music from WITHIN Beethovens' Fifth Symphony, including the attaca transition from the third movement to the finale.

i could never understand the fasination of what comercials are during the superbowl and how good they are.they are just comercials.the same things people wait for to use the bathroom, go to the refrigerator or whatever things they feel they need to do.

During the pregame, there was a GEICO ad; the significance of the ad is that it was in standard definition! I guess GEICO is serious about saving money when they won't even spring the big bucks for the big game!

I think most, if not all GEICO ads are SD only, leading stations or cable networks to either stretch the picture or show them pillarboxed.

i tivo'd the game delayed by about an hour so i didn't have to see commercials, gee i hope they didn't pay ALOT of money for those things, because they were a blurr when i hit fast forward.

The Turner networks stretch SD progams on their HD channels, but they show SD commercials pillarboxed on the HD channels. How many major advertisers are still doing commercials SD or does Geico's agency have something against HD?
