The final numbers are in for ABC and Super Bowl XL:
41.6 rating
62.0 share
90,745,000 million viewers
45,867,000 households
I know that a broadcast "rating" point represents 1.102 million viewers. I get that "share" is a percentage of TVs tuned in for that program. Here's what confuses me: Is the 90.7 million vierwer mark counting more than households? (1,102,000 X 41.6 = 45,843,200.)
On a side note, is the local rating/share info available for WTAE-TV (ABC) channel 4 of Pittsburgh and KOMO-TV (ABC) channel 4 of Seattle?
