Superjock's Blog

sounds like he's trying to hawk Animal Stories CDs. A real blog is updated regularly.

You're not going to get regular updates from Lujack on his blog. He probably sends them thru snail mail to have someone input into the computer. He probably thinks the typewriter is the greatest invention ever--and he probably doesn't even use THAT.

I met Mr Lujack on a snow-day (off school) in '76 or so, a grizzly but darkly merry cynic if ever there was one.

Smokes overflowing from his ashtray, he had a few moment for us inside, past the fishbowl window.

I think he'd be happy to be back in Chicago on a big signal, but not likely to move back, ever.

Lujack rates as my favorite air personality of all time. My guess, he's bored with retirement (despite his recent contributions from afar) and might indeed move back for the right gig. Just a guess.

I love and miss LL and believe that RealOldies was the absolute best on the absolute worst place on the dial. I have no doubt that LL would return in a second for the right radio deal, but he will do it remote and will never leave his mountain in New Mexico, especially for Chicago. Meanwhile, I stand by the assessment that so-called blog is really a ploy to boost flagging Animal Stories cd sales. I have said cds and they make me laugh every time I pop one in.

That sneaky Lujack. Using his "blog" to garner attention. Why it must be working because we are discussing it on this board.

The only time LL will be back in Chicago is for family or business reasons. He won't, in my opinion, move back to this area. If you ever heard his interviews when he was ready to retire the first time, you will hear his real dislike for the "big city" environment.
