SuperMix

In the 80s and 90s there was a 3 to 4 hour end-of-the-year syndicated show called SuperMix. It was basically snippets of songs segued back to back and beat to beat. No one song was longer than 90 seconds before going on to the next segment. I have the one for 1987 and was wondering if there were more created for 1988, 1989, etc. This was different than the ever-popular HotMix, although it may have been produced by HotMix.

I have the one for 1987 if anyone would like a copy. I would just like to know who produced these great mixes and where I could possibly get a copy of others.

Thanks for your help!

Back in the early 2000s, the old Star 97 here in Nashville used to have what they called the "Supermix" on Saturday evenings. It was produced by Superradio, from what they told me. The only difference between this and what you describe is that they used the full versions of the songs in the mix, not snippets. Since they used songs in the Supermix that don't regularly get played on radio anymore, I rolled tape, so I now have a few cassettes of this Supermix, because I knew that it would be soon enough that they would change formats, and Supermix would be gone! :'(
