Sure is quiet around here...

Anything going on worth talking about in San Diego radio this week? There hasn't been a post in here since the 24th... I think that's an unusually long time in this market. Or is it just because were at the end of the book?

So, what's up in San Diego radio these days?
(Don't make me come over there!)

Hi,

With the holidays prbably not much is going to happen. But I suspect just after the first of the year a whole lot of other shoes are going to drop.

Besides, why post anything? It would probably just get deleted and you've wasted your time.

Re: Sure is quiet around here/"Edited"

He's right, the post simply get edited.
The "Thought Police" I.E. KM Richards must
approve every post. I've never seen a
moderator micro-manage and censor as many
posts as I've seen here.

IMHO...............

See? Now this is just the kind of posts to get someone's feathers in a ruffle. Some will take offense and some will take sides and pretty soon it's a free-for-all.

I think all the changes that are going to happen in San Diego radio won't happen until after the first of the year. KPLN is gone and is all talk radio KSCF, KYXY will be doing Christmas songs here soon, Jeff and Jer and Star are down the dial, Jack is here for a while, 91X is 91X and Halloran is still at FM949, Stern is gone after 12/16, Jagger & Kristi are back, etc, etc, etc....I mean what more could you ask for?

Enjoy the peace while you can! :)

This from someone who turned the thread about the Saturday Night Disco program into a homophobic diatribe.

Let me explain it again.

I don't work for you, I work for the owners of this site. You don't pay to use this site, so you get to follow their rules in exchange for the free access. My job is to edit or remove any posts with content the owners have indicated they don't want on the site.

If you don't like it, you can leave whenever you like. Or, the next time you make a post like this which violates the posted rule #6, the owners will make that decision for you. Your choice, but I'm not going to have this debate with you again.<P ID="signature">______________

Read my reply to collinsradio. It applies to you too.

Are you sure you don't work against the owners of this site? Do you think they'd appreciate your pissing so many people off? There is a middle ground, you know.

Re: Sure is quiet around here/"Edited"

First of all I didn't say anything homophobic, I simply
stated I didn't care or need to know that the disco show
was big with gays. It's a cliche anyway. That's like saying
Barbeque is big with blacks, an insult. Your problem KM
is you want to be PD of something so you play it out here.
