@Da Music...the walk out didnt necessarily hurt sales from what I was told. The biggest hit to sales was the downfall of the station when A.P. was P.D. At one time, WTVY had great numbers, but I was told she drove it into the ground and the numbers were terrible. No numbers = no Reg or Nat sales. Most of the local sales stayed intact after the walkout and I've heard they are doing pretty well locally right now.
The station needed some changes and "the walk-out gang" didn't want to hear it, so they went and convinced Eubanks to create Kickin. I've heard the numbers aren't very good at Kickin either, so I'm guessing it won't be around much longer with this merger.
Bottom line is, as I said before, I hate to see anyone lose a job in this economy. I hope the new owners take a minute to think about that.
