the Mountaineers had my Dawgs down 28-0 and

But Georgia made a strong comeback as WVU's
offense collapsed in the second half; WVU
won 38-35. I think Georgia might have won
had four things not happened: a 15-yard penalty
that stopped a potential scoring drive and led
to WVU's second touchdown; two fumbles which
gave WVU two more TDs; and a first down for the
Mountaineers that enabled them to run out the
clock in the fourth quarter.
Obviously, a lot of us underestimated this game,
and I predict ABC will win again tonight with the
Orange Bowl (and definitely tomorrow night with
the Rose for all the marbles).
