Surprised Marc Hasn't Noticed This

On a whim, I Googled WXCT. The second result is a country station in Baton Rouge, LA, "New Country 100.7 The Tiger". This station has not used the WXCT-FM call letters for eight years; in fact, they're on their second set of call letters since then. Did they take them back recently?

I still haven't figured out why they still come up. 1220 in Hamden, CT used to be WXCT and they hardly ever show up when you Google WXCT. They were WXCT until 1996. They were Spanish until then but they had a different format when they first became WXCT because our friend Steve Bryant was doing mornings there in the late 80s shortly before moving to West Chester, PA and QVC.
