Al Nasser - I have to admit (Pal) Al Nasser has done a remarkable job as a talk show host at night on WWL. He's knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to. His voice is conversational rather that a "DJ voice" and he comes across most pleasantly and speaks with authority, and can follow any conversation through to a conclusion that makes sense. I was wow'ed listening to Al a couple of nights ago...great job, Al and the Big 'L should have no hesitation letting Al fill in even during the daytime slots.
Vince Marinello - Another nice surprise. Though known as a "sports person" Vince has picked up the ball and run for a touchdown with his presentation and depth of knowledge. Vince should be on 'L full time instead of Whiiiiiney Johnson.
Then there's Bob Mitchell. $60,000 a year down the toilet for Entercom for a cue card reader who "haw-haw-haw's" with his own lame jokes during intelligent conversations that Vince is having with callers. What an embarrassment. And why is he even necessary? Vince carries the show like a pro. Notice that the callers all say "Hi Vince". Nobody even acknowledges that Mitchell is there because he's a fish out of water on a talk show. Cutbacks from lack of revenue at Entercom? Suggestion: start with Mitchell when his contract is up in January.
