I don't like either one.

Both stations play some good songs from time to time.

In Myrtle Beach I like WEZV.

Easy 105.9 is a good station, they were really providing a service to the community during Hurricane Charley. I like The New Sunny 103.1 best of all, since they are hooked up to Scott Shannon's True Oldies Channel from 3pm-6am.

I need help. I must join one of those organizations where you only use your first name. Where you get up and tell how long you've been able to resist temptation. Where you have a sponsor to call if you need to.

All I did was look to see if John Boy and Billy ever had oldies as an option, or whether the oldies stations that carried the show played classic rock when it was on.

You can see the results on Wikipedia under the heading "history." I was an hour late eating lunch and I decided not to do any shopping at the mall.

Update: I did find the proof John Boy and Billy played olides music for those stations that wanted it. The article was actually about the time they played "Another One Bites the Dust" immediately after the show reported on a sniper in Washington, D.C. It was unfortunate that I had to put this information in the Wikipedia article, but there are three justifications for doing this. One is that the article did offer proof that there was an oldies option (the country and oldies stations were not playing "Another One Bites the Dust"), and the other is that the headline of the article sort of gives away what happened, so it sort of requires an explanation if I'm going to use a source. And, finally, it illustrates the nature of the show's automation system: they didn't know ahead of time the song was going to play at this unfortunate time.

This was years ago; is Sunny using classic rock when they air the show?

Years ago when WTRG Oldies 100.7 was running JB&B, I recall hearing that they were the origination point for Oldies for the show. The audio never lined up with the classic rock affiliates, so I took it to mean they were taking a dry feed and inserting music, then re-feeding it for other affiliates.

Well atleast you can consider Sunny 103.1 The Grand Strand's True Oldies Channel 20 out of 24 hours per day, and all day long on sundays. The classic rock during JB&B isnt so bad, besides, they don't play that many songs during the show anyway.
