SUS and NNJ

A few minor things I want to mention about WSUS and WNNJ.

First WSUS:

The Lost 80s Lunch Hour is not on anymore. It was on for as long as I can remember. Now they're doing the "Soft Rock Cafe". Everyday they "serve" us up with the "special". Today they were focusing on 1979. Their is a list of the "specials" on the website.

Also, they don't have the weather jingle anymore. The voice guy just says "WSUS Weather", then after the weather report I think they say "The Best Variety of Soft Rock is back on 102.3 WSUS".

WNNJ FM:

I was just wondering what some people thought about the Jay Wulff Show which is on mornings. I listen most mornings. Its ok, but not the best. I think it would be better if he had a co-host. Thoughts?

And for all the Clear Channel stations in Sussex, they now have afternoon traffic reporters.

I have also noticed that there has been quite a bit of "Jock Juggling" on several of the stations in that cluster. As a matter of fact I hear what is shaping up to be a much BETTER air-staff especially on their Oldies 1360 station. I do believe that the mid-day jock left and by default Rick Davis got the gig and sounds WAYYYYY BETTER than Ryan did...just my opinion though. As for "Max", I was up that was driving to Stroudsburg and really liked what I heard: Solid Imaging, Good Variety, just lacking in the VT'd Jock department. If it wasn't VT'd it certainly DID sound it! Can't really comment on WSUS, but WNNJ-FM DID seem to be playing more "Hair Rock/80's stuff" than what I remember hearing the last time I tuned in. Honestly I liked what I heard a lot BETTER this time...DAMN 'KTU causing adjacent interference!

I think Ryan is moving to Dallas.
