"Svengoolie" Returning To San Francisco?

According to Wikipedia, Svengoolie is being syndicated to stations such as L.A.'s KDOC Channel 56 as well as San Francisco's KBWB TV 20. Since anyone can edit Wikipedia, I am hesitant to believe it and nothing is mentioned on TV 20's official website. Is Svengoolie truly on TV 20? If so, that mean Sven is making a return to the Bay Area. Svengoolie was on KBHK (now KBCW) Channel 44 from 1979-83.

I got the same bum story and stupidly posted it. What happened is NBC/Universial has re-packaged it's classic monster movies in a 90 minute format and is sending them out to a handful of subscribing stations on a weekly basis, testing the waters as it were. One of those stations is WCIU in Chicago where "Svengoolie" is. More and more, studios like Universal are finding the cable TV door slamming on just about any of their pre 1980's or 1990's library. Even TV Land is stepping it up with more cheap "reality" shows. Slowly the pendgelum is swinging back the other way and more and more old movies are being welcomed back to broadcast TV.
