Sweet Music and Oldie Golde??

Hey Guys:

I have an interesting question for all of you:

What in the world does the formats "Sweet Music" and "Oldie Golde" mean? I found these terms in broadcasting yearbook and magazine.

Seems like WIRK 107.9 did a format called "sweet music" and then in Oct 1971 changed to a format called Oldie Golde from (ABC-FM).

T.J.
