Sweet Talkin' Guy

Additional note: The Hammond organ (especially the B-3 and the M102) has been a key part in many rock tunes, such as: “Hello Stranger”, Barbara Lewis; “Green Onions”, Booker T and the MGs; "A Whiter Shade of Pale”, Procol Harum; "Gimme Some Lovin”, The Spencer Davis Group; and “Itchycoo Park”, Ian McLagan.

Sounds like several violins, that's one reason why I thought of the organ. The Youtube video of some other group (not the Chiffons) playinh it uses an organ.

The intro to me sounds like a combination of pizzicato strings and pianos hitting the same notes together.

Brian Wilson (Beach Boys) did this kind of arranging also, mixing several instruments together (with a good echo chamber) to create a unique sound. The intro to "Wouldn't it Be Nice" is a good example of this. Its sad nobody makes big sounding productions like this now.
