Sybil Summers Question

Is she married? I rarely listen to The Fan, but on Monday, The Fan's morning show - which strives not to be terrible* - was making the joke that Sybil and Richie Whitt are together. They were trying to call Richie, and the two hosts joked that he is probably at Sybil's.

* the best part of "New School" is Jasmine. She is interesting and is talented.

I met Jasmine once in Plano, she's cute.
 
Sybil and Richie are dating and living together. They have talked about it many times on the air.

I thought she was married or engaged to a non-radio guy. Good for Richie and Sybil.

I am not excited abbout their white elephant because it seems completely stolen from the Ticket. But I will listen.
 
The Fan does a white elephant day too? How f---ing LAME! Why not just call yourselves the Wannabe Ticket? Wow, how pathetic.. No wonder they're getting crushed by the Ticket.

Just one of many examples of their Ticket bit plagaiarism/theft. Some others include:

Fail Friday (e-brake)
Fake Nolan Ryan (RJ Choppy)
Redundant man/obvious man (Greggo at training camp this year)
Pigskin Poet (they have some lame poet for Cowboy games)
The Bud Light Mr. ……..Man commercial for the station
Tuesday Tunesday (Nude Music Tuesday)
Elf
Ben & Skin
Chris Arnold
Mike Bascik
 
If they steal & perform all of the Ticket's bits, they should do just as well in the ratings, right?

Actually, they are VERY original ideas. Bruce Gilbert was the founding brain trust behind The Ticket. Fast-forward 20 years...he now runs 105.3. Those were HIS ideas to begin with. Hard to "steal" your own stuff.

Not true. BG was extremely instrumental in the success of the Ticket, but by his own admission, he let the talent generate the ideas and creativity. In the Ticket book "Full Disclosure" referring to the on-air talent, he said his role was to "Find a way to harness their creativity and keep it in check, but let them be who they are." And he was only there from 1997-2003. Many of the bits the Fan has stolen pre-dated or post-dated BG's tenure. So how then were they his ideas?
 
The coach is correct. Bruce's claim to fame from his time at the ticket was hiring Bob and Dan. That is the feather in his cap. He did very well when he was there, but to claim this is his baby is totally false.
 
* Since Bruce Gilbert was the "founding brain trust behind the Ticket", that means The Fan should expect to be even more successful, since they have a bigger & better signal, right?
