Syndicated "Jeopardy!" 1978-79: Did it air in Philly?

On the Natl TV board I saw the 78-79 syndie J! with Art Fleming briefly mentioned. That got me wondering... did that version air in Philadelphia?

I don't remember watching it or seing it promoted or listed, although I lived in Delaware County at the time (I was in 12th grade).

I remember it on Channel 3, and if I'm not mistaken, it was a revival attempt by NBC, not syndicated.

Metromedia DID syndicate Jeopardy! for a year in 1974, after NBC dropped it the first time, but that continued on right from the initial run, like what happened with "The Joker's Wild" but with less success.

I stand corrected. I just did some research, and the syndicated Jeopardy of 1974 ran concurrent with, not after, the last season on NBC, and was a weekly show.

The 1978 version was, in fact, on NBC, and it was NBC who demanded all the changes in the format in that version. When Merv brought it back through King World in 1984, he made sure the game went back to the way it had been played in the 1960's.
