Syndicated Music Show Program Clock

Hey all --- for those of you who syndicate weekend music shows, what kind of program clock do you use? That is, how many minutes of active programming per hour do you provide? Where do you put commercial breaks for affiliates to fill and how long are they?

How do you distribute your show? If by FTP do you break it up into segments or simply upload an entire show and leave dead air for ads?

Sorry for so many novice questions.

Hi!

On my Sunday show (4 hours), I place my national spots (5 minutes each hour) at 24 and 54 after.

:00-:24 programming
:24-:26 national spots (mine)
:26-:30 local station's spots
:30-:54 programming
:54-:57 national spots (mine)

My weekday/daily show has one minute of less per hour (4 minutes) of national spots, but calls for 1 minute a day ROS (placed during the day, outside of my show).

Note that this is MY show, and not a "general" template. All shows and situations may vary.

My show is distributed through Westwood One. My show in particular uses a company called Mr. Master to digitally distribute the show to all affiliates (not downloads). Each half hour segment is delivered to the station digitally into a special show folder, that they then open and "drag and drop" the show into their system.

For my show(s) I have four 25 or so minute segments. The stations fill with Commercials, psa's or music

The "New Oldies Show" clock is:

"Raw show :
Segment one 18:50
Segment two 19:00
Segment three 19:00

Available also as 20 minute segments with one minute of PSAs
or continuous hour with three one minute PSAs.

Downloadable off the web site as MP3- 320Kbps
