Syndicating KXL-FM's Clyde Lewis?

I've never heard Clyde Lewis, but anything Premier can do to shake up the George Noory snooze-fest would be a step in the right direction. George Knapp is ever worse. The Art Bell "Somewhere In Time" repeats are entertaining but, hey, they're decades old! Imagine broadcasting such outdated talk content. More evidence that radio's "Golden Days" are behind us.

I'm all for live content over recorded anytime it's possible, but Coast is the perfect show to air repeats of. Aliens aren't any more fake today than they were in 2003.

That said, and not knowing anything about this guy, Premiere airing a live show in this spot is great. So many stations use that feed in the 10p Saturday slot that it's great to get someone live some exposure.

This show won't air on Saturdays. Just Monday-Friday. Right now they air a re-feed of the previous weekday night's Coast to Coast AM in that slot. They don't do a lot of re-feeds these days due to the advent of those nice XDS receivers. When they do air a re-feed, it carries a different set of advertisements than the live broadcast. I'm glad it won't air Saturdays though because I do enjoy those 1990s Art Bell shows.

Well, not as many stations run that feed at 10p on weekdays, but for those that do this will be a good thing. Live content is always better than repeats.

I'm listening to Clyde Lewis and like what I hear! I could see Him taking over for George Noory in the future. IMO,He has a presence that hasn't been on the show since Art Bell hung it up
