KTTV is using KCOP back in 2018 to accommodate the world cup, Telemundo preempts both the local and national morning shows in the west coast. but it can effect the local ratings since Fox has most of a headstart in local morning shows especially in the west coast. KCPQ, KPTV, KMPH and KTVU have duopolies so they can move their morning shows from their main station but in Las Vegas Sinclair NBC station KSNV offers only an 8am hour for KVCW while KTNV has LV Morning Blend at 9am. but none in the 7am hour. Sacramento and San Diego has 3 options but in LA KCBS is yet to launch their morning show for KCAL while in the Bay Area KPIX started to produce morning shows for KBCW and at 9am. I don't understand why Scripps didn't added the Ion station in Grand Rapids, there's no regulatory conflict in a duopoly in West Michigan
