Syndication for 2023-24

They are other options in the Los Angeles Market here's my suggestions:

1. Meruelo Media Group Full-Power Television Station KBEH-TV 63.1 would be an option flipping to an English language The CW West Coast Flagship Station in the Los Angeles Market and to air this Syndication shows what KDOC-TV showed since KDOC-TV 56.1 Independent station is gone forever and shows what KTLA-TV showed if Nexstar Media Group would of buy Meruelo Media Group since this station has a big coverage and a strong signal their transmitter is located atop Mount Wilson

2. Weigel Broadcasting Full-Power Television Station KVME-TV 20.1 and Low-Power Class A Television Station KSFV-CD 27.1 would also be an option flipping to an English language as The CW West Coast Flagship Station in the Los Angeles Market and to air these Syndication shows what KDOC-TV showed since KDOC-TV 56.1 Independent station is gone forever and Syndication shows what KTLA-TV showed if Nexstar Media Group would of buy Weigel Broadcasting instead of airing Jewelry Television affiliate

3. KUSI-TV 51.1/K12PO 51.1/K03JB-D would be another option to become as The CW West Coast Flagship Station in the Los Angeles Market and the San Diego-Tijuana Metropolitan and to air these Syndication shows what KDOC-TV showed since KDOC-TV 56.1 Independent station is gone forever and Syndication shows what KTLA-TV showed if Nexstar Media Group would buy KUSI-TV/K12PO/K03JB-D 51.1 since this station has a translator in Temecula and it is also carried on Spectrum (former Time Warner Cable) Channel 8 in the Temecula Valley and Inland Empire

This is my suggestions now you guys know that they are options for the Los Angeles Market
Unless Mckinnon sells the station to major station group like Fox, Sinclair, Hearst, or Gray. I could imagine Nexstar or Tegna might lose either its Fox or subchannel CW affiliation, in Tegna's case they might replace its CW affiliation with MNTV in primetime Monday to Friday.

If KTLA-TV is about to become all Local News, all Local Time I think KTLA-TV should disaffiliate The CW and to become as a NewsNation

Here's my suggestions:

Weigel Broadcasting KVME-TV 20.1 and KSFV-CD 27.1 would probably be an option to become as The CW West Coast Flagship Station in the Los Angeles Market if Nexstar Media Group would of buy Weigel Broadcasting instead of this channel keep showing Jewelry Television affiliate

Meruelo Media Group Full-Power Television Stations KWHY-TV 22.1 or KBEH-TV 63.1 would be another option flipping to an English language as The CW West Coast Flagship in the Los Angeles Market since both channels have a more coverage and a strong signal since their transmitter is located atop Mount Wilson if Nexstar Media Group would of buy Meruelo Media Group and instead of keep showing Universal Church which KJLA-TV 57.1 already has it

Whichever these stations would pick up the entire Syndication shows what KDOC-TV showed since KDOC-TV 56.1 Independent station is gone and the Syndication shows what KTLA-TV 5.1 showed would air on either of these stations:

Karamo
The Steve Wilkos Show
Jerry Springer
Forensic Files
Cheaters
Pawn Stars
Storage Wars
The Goldbergs
Young Sheldon
Last Man Standing
Family Guy
Bob's Burgers
Impractical Jokers
Full Measure with Sharyl Attkison
The Carbonaro Show
American Ninja Warrior
Championship Wrestling of Hollywood
Street Magic
Popstar! Today
The CW Programming
Religious Programs: In Touch with Charles Stanley/Joel Olsteen/The Jewish Jesus/Know of Cause

These are only stations that either of these stations should become as The CW West Coast Flagship Station and to become the new sister station of KTLA-TV if Nexstar Media Group would of buy either Weigel Broadcasting (KVME-TV/KSFV-CD) or Meruelo Media Group (KWHY-TV or KBEH-TV) that's my suggestions you agreed with my suggestions?

Wood TV got to fill 2PM will they try and get Tamron Hall from Sinclair which Tamron Hall is aired on CW7 at 11AM go with a game show haven forbid know we need that 6EPs of Family Feud M-F as it is in a 2-hour block WXSP 6PM to 7PM & sister TV station WOTV 7PM to 8PM. Can't get Access Daily as WZZM airs that at 9AM to 10AM. Wood TV could air Access Hollywood & Extra from the day before to be you know cheap which they already do with Access Hollywood on WOTV 4PM.

1. Not a chance in hell. First off, KBEH (and KWHY) operate on RF 4, and their over-the-air signal is weak at best. It'll be asinine just to move The CW off of KTLA, just to put it on a signal that no one doesn't (or can't) watch. Why do you think KBEH has gone through multiple programming format changes over the years, since the change to Spanish-language programming and its re-allocation as a Los Angeles DMA station years ago? All said that, especially for Los Angeles market prices, I don't think Meruelo wants to spend the programming costs to stock-up KBEH (or KWHY) with viable programming, beside the junk pay-for-play they already air on 63.

2. I think Weigel is content with operating the diginet setups they have outside of their core Midwest base (Chicago, Milwaukee, South Bend). Here with their KAZA/KVME/KPOM/KSFV setup, at least they don't have to pay any syndication dollars to air programming. This isn't like the three aforementioned cities where Weigel had years of establishing presence which enabled them to compete with the big stations in those cities, and even that took years for that to work.

3. LOL...again, not a chance in hell. Besides, if the McKinnons were to ever sell KUSI to Nexstar (personally don't see it happening for a couple reasons), that station would operate alongside KSWB, not KTLA, even though the latter two stations do share some of the management team. And why would KUSI, the ONLY English-language independent station in the San Diego market, want to vacate there to become just another station in Los Angeles, especially being KTLA's dumping ground?

One of the reasons why we won't see this scenario play-out are those pesky "programming rights" issues...you know, the kind of issue where a TV provider would have to blackout certain shows because other stations in THAT DMA are airing the exact same shows. Secondly, and the most important reason--duopoly rules. San Diego only has five full-power English commercial stations--KFMB, KGTV, KNSD, KUSI, and KSWB, and although KGTV and KNSD are a part of duopolies of their own, the sister stations to both are low-power licenses (KZSD and KUAN, respectively). So, in other words, unless one of those stations files a failing station waiver to stay in business, or KFMB (Tegna), KUSI, or KSWB (Nexstar) acquires a low-power signal to complement them, you will never see an English-language duopoly established in San Diego.

In some many words, your idea is a pipedream, and has no realistic chance in hell of ever happening. I'm done :).

First, KUSI used to be a UPN station from 95-98 and Tegna refused to carry LIV Golf on their CW subchannel which shares with MNTV overnight. Second, I mean I'm thinking of an idea selling KUSI to either Gray, Sinclair, Hearst, or even Fox, KUAN shares spectrum using the tower of KNSD hence full power signal. Third, LA has a lot of stations than any other media market and we used to have 2 English stations out of Tijuana, Mexico, that explains we don't have room for another UHF station in SD especially being sandwiched between LA, Palm Springs, and Tijuana. One of the them XETV 6 now owned by Televisa which owns 45% of Televisa Univision. In case of Syndicated Shows being cancelled recently, Entravision pulled the plug on their MNTV station back 2018. I wanna see FOX or CW joining KUSI at some point to maintain the balance of having 5 news producing stations affiliating 5 first run tv networks one each per station with MNTV broadcasting in primetime or later on channel 8.2. KSWB or KUSI might use their digital subchannel space to carry Univision, UniMas, and/or EstrellaTV to achieve a full power signal reach.

First of all XHAS-TDT 33.1 became as a Estrella TV affiliate on it's full-power signal for the San Diego-Tijuana Metropolitan area and KSDX-LD 9.1 became as an Estrella News affiliate a 24/7 news channel on it's main channel in the San Diego-Tijuana Metropolitan area. I've been thinking Estrella Media should of sell Entravision Communications to become as an Estrella TV affiliate on XHAS-TDT 33.1 even if it's owned by Televisora Alco

Second of all I've been thinking also about Tegna would of buy HC2 Holdings Inc Low-Power Class A Television Station KSKT-CD 43.1 to become as The CW affiliate "The CW San Diego" as the sister station of KFMB-TV 8.1 that would be an option.

Third, Tegna would of also buy Venture Technologies Group Low-Power Television Station KZTC-LD 7.1 to become as an My Network TV affiliate station to air the entire Syndication shows

That's my suggestions for the San Diego-Tijuana Metropolitan areas

Well let me tell you the truth first of all KBEH-TV 63.1 (RF 4) has a strong signal their transmitter is located atop Mount Wilson they're might be a chance for Nexstar Media Group to start buying Meruelo's Full-Power Television Station KBEH-TV 63.1 to become as The CW West Coast Flagship Station and to become the brand-new sister station of KTLA-TV 5.1 also owned by Nexstar instead of keep showing Universal Church on KBEH-TV 63.1.

Second of all Weigel Broadcasting Full-Power Television Station KVME-TV 20.1 and Low-Power Class A Television Station KSFV-CD 27.1 shouldn't still be carrying Jewelry Television anymore it would probably become Heroes & Icons West Coast Flagship Station in the Los Angeles Market besides Jewelry Television is already on KZNO-LD 12.1 that's my suggestions

Now you understand what I'm saying to you the truth?

First of all XHAS-TDT 33.1 became as a Estrella TV affiliate on it's full-power signal for the San Diego-Tijuana Metropolitan area and KSDX-LD 9.1 became as an Estrella News affiliate a 24/7 news channel on it's main channel in the San Diego-Tijuana Metropolitan area. That's my suggestions for the San Diego-Tijuana Metropolitan areas
Entravision has a long relationship with TelevisaUnivision, also CW8.3/Cable 6 (inherited from XETV) doesn't need a low power simulcast much like Telemundo 16/Cable 20 whose signal relies on KNSD's tower thru a spectrum sharing agreement in 2017, and combined with the recent cancellations of many syndicated shows I don't see another English subchannel beyond 6 networks even in a midsized market with just 5 commercially licensed stations. KSWB might loose Rachel Ray but they have some enough syndies to fill rather than follow KTLA's path by dropping Kamaro, either Tegna or Nexstar might pick up Karamo, Steve Wilkos, and/or Michela at some point so does Bryon Allen's 8 court/5 hour lineup.

I just want SD or Jacksonville to fill a tv network for KUSI and WJXT tbh even in this internet driven disruption.

I think KSWB-TV might pick up The Simpsons since this show is owned by Fox-Disney and KSWB-TV is also owned by Fox-Disney

About KTLA-TV they should drop Karamo and their Syndication shows that nobody watches on KTLA-TV at overnight hours such as The Steve Wilkos Show, Friends, Family Guy (this show shouldn't be on KTLA-TV anymore probably KCAL-TV or KCOP-TV (Fox 11 Plus) might pick up Family Guy), The Goldbergs, Last Man Standing, Pawn Stars and Storage Wars these Syndication shows should not be on the air on KTLA-TV anymore because nobody watches these shows on overnight hours a lot of people are sleeping and other people are working obviously KCAL-TV or KCOP-TV (Fox 11 Plus) might pick up these Syndication shows what KTLA-TV showed that's my suggestions

Tenga should buy HC2 Holdings Inc Low-Power Class A Television Station KSKT-CD 43.1 to become The CW affiliate in the San Diego-Tijuana Metropolitan area there might be chance for Cox to add KSKT-CD on Channel 6 as The CW affiliate "The CW San Diego" if Tenga buys HC2 Holdings Inc KSKT-CD 43.1 that's an option

I want Nexstar Media Group to buy KUSI-TV to become The CW West Coast Flagship Station in Southern California I also want KUSI-TV to reach their signal to the Los Angeles Market just like they reach to Temecula Valley which is in Riverside County on K12PO also on 51.1, I wish KUSI-TV would build their new transmitters in Los Angeles, Ventura, Palmdale, Santa Clarita and San Bernardino to continue watching our favorite Syndication shows that showed on former KDOC-TV and KTLA-TV that's what I've been thinking

Under FCC rules Disney cannot own both Fox Broadcasting and ABC. Also, I said SD only has 5 full powered stations plus PBS compares to 20 plus LA stations and 10 plus Tijuana stations per signal interference. A company like Cox, Gray, Sinclair, Hearst, Graham or even Fox might be acceptable to buy KUSI meanwhile KCBS/KCAL and KTTV/KCOP have enough room to put some available syndies to fill especially with Dr. Phil, Rachel Ray, The Peoples Court, etc. are going away soon.

I agree. Plus I don’t see Hearst entering San Diego unless they give up a valuable property in a trade deal.

In my opinion I think KCAL-TV would pick up some Syndication shows what KDOC-TV and KTLA-TV showed:

Forensic Files
Cheaters
Pawn Stars
Storage Wars
The Goldbergs
Young Sheldon
Last Man Standing
King of Queens
Family Guy
Bob's Burgers
Impractical Jokers
Full Measure with Sharyl Attkison
The Carbonaro Show
Championship Wrestling of Hollywood

These are Syndication shows what KCAL-TV should pick up since The People's Court and Judge Judy etc are going away

Obviously KCOP-TV (Fox 11 Plus) would pick up some Syndication shows what KDOC-TV and KTLA-TV showed

Karamo
The Steve Wilkos
Family Feud
Funny how you should Ask
Friends
Judy Justice
Dateline
Seinfeld
Schitt's Creek
American Ninja Warrior
Top 10
Ring Nation

These are some Syndication shows what KCOP-TV (Fox 11 Plus) should pick up since The Rachel Ray Show is going away

That was my opinion I have a feeling that it will be shown on these stations in the fall that's what I've been thinking you agreed with my suggestions?

Well depends on the slots especially KCAL added a morning show also KTTV has enough space at some point 11am-5pm and overnight 11pm-4am

“Meanwhile, Judge Judy reruns have done very well, outperforming all first-run syndication fare except for Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune, which have the advantage of evening time slots, and Family Feud. That has had station group owners reaching out to inquire about Judy Justice, which essentially would be a first-run program as there is little overlap between broadcast viewers and the largely cord-cutting Sheindlin fans who stream her Freevee show, produced by Amazon Studios. (According to Amazon, 75 million hours of Judy Justice‘s first season were streamed on-demand and FAST ahead of its renewal for Season 2, which has episodes dropping every weekday.)”
